Consulting, advocacy and educational organization designed to empower parents of children with special needs

IEP’s mission is to educate parents so they feel equipped to engage in their child(ren)’s Team meetings. Our job is to give you the tools needed to participate in the development of your child’s IEP. We come through the lens of special education administration and most importantly through the lens of special education parents.

Special Education isn't most parents' area of expertise — and that’s okay! But that doesn't mean your child's education should be left to chance. That’s why Jaimee and Adam started this passion project: to bridge the gap between families and schools with empathy, experience, and advocacy.
Founded by Jaimee, a longtime special education chairperson, and her husband, Adam, this initiative was born out of their deep understanding of how overwhelming the IEP process can be for caregivers. Jaimee brings over 20 years of experience in special education, chairing meetings like your child's on a weekly (often daily) basis. She lives and breathes the specialized language that only educators and administrators seem to understand. She knows what it’s like to sit on both sides of the table.
Adam, who holds an MBA and has attended his own children's IEP meetings for the past seven years, offers a parent’s perspective and a collaborative, strengths-based approach. Together, they provide the support and expertise families need to navigate the special education system with confidence.

We have flexible hours to meet during the day, weekend or the evening to meet your busy schedule
